Pia Zadora seriously hurt in golf cart accident driven by her teenage son




Actress and singer Pia Zadora was suffered head injuries and a broken ankle after she was thrown from a golf cart driven by her teenage son in Las Vegas, her manager said Friday. Manager Brian Panella told "It was an inadvertent golf cart accident. Her son was driving and he took a rather hard turn and she was tossed out of the golf cart."

Then Pia Zadora has been hospitalized after suffering from a serious head injury following the golf cart accident on Thursday. "When she improves, she will have ankle surgery in Los Angeles in the next week or so." Zadora, who began her career at the age of 10 with original Broadway production of "Fiddler on the Roof," reportedly cancelled her upcoming singing engagements following her hospitalization.
